Fly to Medicine Hat (YXH)
Medicine Hat Regional Airport is the closest airport. Westjet typically has flights once per day in the morning from Calgary. Unfortunately, WestJet has just announced it will be stopping flights to Medicine Hat as of June 24, 2026.
Fly to Calgary (YYC) + Transfer
Calgary International Airport offers the widest range of domestic and international flights. Medicine Hat is approximately 300 km (3–3.5 hours) from Calgary by road.
Shuttle & Bus Options (from Calgary)
TAC-Organized Shuttle
TAC plans to offer an organized shuttle between Calgary Airport and Medicine Hat, subject to demand on the following dates: July 18, July 23, July 24, July 26 and August 2.

2 departures (between 12:30-2 pm and 5-6 pm) from Calgary to Medicine Hat per day 365 days per year

Regular service between Calgary and Medicine Hat (one bus per day)
Departs at 4:40 pm from the airport, arrives in Medicine Hat at 9:10 pm.
Departs Medicine Hat at 9:50 am and arrives at the airport at 2:35 pm.

Driving to Medicine Hat College
Driving is a convenient option, especially for those travelling from within Alberta or neighbouring provinces.
From Trans-Canada Highway (#1)
Take the College Avenue / South Ridge Drive exit from Highway 1
Head north on College Avenue toward Medicine Hat College
Turn right on College Drive, then right on Primrose Drive
Follow campus signage to Golfview Residence for accommodation and registration
Parking is free on campus for participants staying in the residence

Calgary → Medicine Hat: 3–3.5 hours
Lethbridge → Medicine Hat: ~2 hours
Edmonton → Medicine Hat: ~6–6.5 hours
Saskatoon → Medicine Hat: ~ 4.5-5 hours
