ALL PRICES ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS.

  • A single form allows you to register for Teachers' Conference Weekend (TCW), Summer School Week (SS), or BOTH TCW and SS.
  • All fees will be paid online through the TAC PayPal processor EITHER by credit card OR PayPal account; PLEASE NOTE you have the choice of paying with a credit card within the PayPal payment processor without having a PayPal account.
  • When you are ready to pay, please click the radio button next to your registration choice, and you will be charged that full amount.
  • One person can register two individuals consecutively, provided the two people have different email addresses.  If two people use the same email address, please make two separate registrations.
  • Please note that the registration fee includes the Banquet & Ball for TCW or SS (or both if you are attending both). Non-registrants, e.g. guests of dancers registered for TCW and/or Summer School, can purchase Banquet/Ball tickets individually.<br>

  • Cancellations: If an individual cancels on or before June 9, 2023, we will provide a refund, less a $200 CAD administrative fee. 

    Due to contractual obligations with the universities, if an individual cancels after June 9, 2023, we are unable to provide a refund. Attendees are strongly advised to have suitable insurance to cover any loss of fees in the event of illness, injury, or other unavoidable circumstances.

Dancers under the age of 18 years are required to attend with a parent or guardian who will be responsible for them for the duration of the Summer Event.

TAC 2023 Summer Events Registration

For dancers, the second choice of dance level must differ from that given above. If a different dance level is not given, the Summer Events Committee will randomly assign a second choice for you.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Participants attending Teachers' Conference Weekend and/or Summer School can register as on-campus residents or stay off-campus and attend as a non-resident. For those registering as on-campus residents please note:

King's College offers single rooms or double rooms with two beds in one room separated by a hallway. Please indicate your preference for a single or a double and with whom you wish to share a double. For those attending TCW only, you will be housed at King's since all weekend events and meals will be taken there.

Dalhousie offers two, three, or four-person suites; all bedrooms are separate, but two bedrooms share a single bathroom. Every effort will be made to assign you to your preferred residence, but if either residence hall fills, we will need to assign based on availability. Please consult the 2023 Residence Comparison - King's College and Dalhousie under the Summer School and TCW menus, and on the Fee Schedule and Accommodations page

Bathroom-sharing preferences are applicable to Dalhousie only. Give the name(s) of one or more people with whom you prefer to share the en suite bathroom in the Dalhousie residence hall. If you have no suggestions, enter Will Share.

If we cannot match you with a preferred person, we will endeavour to pair participants who share a bathroom with someone of the same sex unless otherwise indicated.

If you wish to be housed near other dancers on the same floor, please indicate in the field below. Every effort will be made to accommodate the request.

If you are requesting extra night's accommodation before TCW or Summer School, please indicate which night(s).

If the person you named is also attending TAC Summer Events with you, please add a second non-attendee contact with names separated by a punctuation mark e.g. Heironymous Smith (spouse); Hermione Brown (daughter-in-law)
If you added a second contact above, please also include a phone number for that second person.

All meals are served buffet style and will automatically include common options such as vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free. If you have exceptional dietary requirements or allergies that are unlikely to be met with serve-yourself selections, please provide information. Non-resident registration includes lunch and banquet(s) but does not include breakfast or dinner.

Banquet & Ball tickets are included with full TCW and/or Summer School registration. Individual tickets are only needed for non-registrants, e.g., guests of registered dancers


There are a limited number of rooms available at Dalhousie prior to TCW/SS, and they must be reserved prior to March 29.
Rooms are not available after TCW/SS at Dalhousie.
There will be availability for additional nights pre and post-TCW/SS at King's College.
Price of the extra nights do not include meals, though meals may be purchased at the King's dining hall.
